wet weekend in Berlin

A wet and miserable weekend wasn't the best way to introduce Berlin to a toddler, but we still managed to see Brandenburg Tor, Alexanderplatz, The Holocaust Memorial, East Side Gallery, waited a very, very long time in the line for the Pergamon and finally got to eat at one of my favourite Vietnamese Restaurants in Prenzlauer Berg.  We also shared a delicious "adult-only" meal in Gendarmenmarkt on Saturday night to celebrate a birthday.  And now, I'm ready for a holiday to recover!  How was your weekend?

Hi Clare, we had a wet weekend too, managed to get out on the bike for a short ride, and a glass of cider while we were out! Enjoying planning for Wien - opera tickets and train to Berlin booked, waiting to hear back from Restaurant Schnattl... I made a lemon and poppy seed cake, which we ate for Sunday night dinner! Counting down to seeing you soon, Clare x
