This weekend I went rummaging in a fleamarket close to our apartment. I'm on the look-out for a 'perfect' side-table for the entrance. Unfortunately the fleamarket I chose had almost no furniture, although it did have lots and lots of 40s, 50s, and 60s trinkets. But despite falling in love with many lovely things I ended up walking away empty-handed. Not many bargains left at midday and the sellers were all being very tough negotiators. I really wanted to buy a very cute little teapot which I thought was destined for my kitchen. Sadly the seller refused to bargain - I did the old 'walk away and hope she lowers the price' thing - only she let me go. Oh well, luckily there's always next week...
