Earlier this week Denalee from Silver Strands gave me this "going places" award and then yesterday Mandy's Yellow Corner presented me with the "sugar doll" award. Thank you, I'm very chuffed! Having never received a blogger award before, to get two in a week has made feel awesome. Thanks ladies!
In the first award you have to write about where you'll be in 10 years and in the second, thank the person who gave it to you, share ten things about yourself, then pass the award on to ten bloggers you've recently discovered and let them know you gave them an award!

Truthfully I have no idea where I'll be in two years time, let alone ten. In the last two years I've lived on three different continents, five countries and seven different homes. Sound exhausting? It is. After nearly seven months in Berlin I'm slowly starting to feel like this is my home, but whilst Matthias and I have left the option of staying here longer than our 2 year contracts, my guess is we'll probably be moving on. So in 10 years time I hope to be surrounded by friends and family, wherever that may be, and to be continuing to follow the twists and turns of my passions. Oh, and I'd like to do all of this knowing that at the end of the day there's a Gin and Tonic and a bowl of strawberries waiting for me on the balcony.
The countries I've lived in:
1. Australia
Now for the 10 fun facts about me.
10. I don't know my left from my right. I once tried to direct my dad into a brick wall "Turn left Dad. Left! Now!... Oh, I meant the other left". There are many other stories just like this one.
9. When I eat something with too many egg whites, my nose gets itchy. I can't eat Souffle or Pavolova without my nose wrinkling up and feeling like I need to sneeze.

8.I have two tiny scars just under my bottom lip from when I put my teeth through my lip when I was little. I have no memory of the event, which is probably a good thing.
7. I have double jointed baby fingers.
6. I have four tubes of vegemite in my cupboard. It's my comfort food and my hangover cure. I'm still slightly paranoid about running out.
5. I always thought I was a winter person until I moved to Berlin. Now, I think I'm definitely a summer kinda girl.
4. I can (and do) sleep anywhere. I'm not very good at staying up past midnight, and if tired, tend to fall asleep regardless of what I'm doing - I've been known to fall asleep mid-sentence.
3. The place I'd most like to travel to next is Morocco.
2. The first time I met Matthias he was wearing a pink shirt and I remember thinking, "This is one of the few guys who can actually pull this look off."
1. I'm 5 foot 2 inches and love to wear heels. One of the biggest disappointments about living in Berlin is that all the streets are paved with cobblestones. It looks nice and adds a romance to the city but is totally impractical for high-heel wearing.
So now, over to you. I give the awards to you. If you have a blog, leave a comment here and I'll pop over to your blog, write some kind words about this or that and you can consider the award passed on in a spirit of friendly bloggerly-ness.

I can't tell my left from my right either, I have to make an L with my hand or pretend I'm writing for a second to tell my right! I think it's a girl thing, I'm not the only one I know who has trouble.
And this is a sad story, I can't eat vegemite since I found I was gluten intolerant, I have to eat 'vege spread'. SO not the same. I occasionally sneak the real stuff but I pay for it the next day.
I just love your blog. I have only had time to explore a little but am anxious to look more. Photos are fab.
You have lived so many interesting places....what great substance for a photographer and what a pain in the butt for the packer upper of the stuff. I sell real estate....I see people at the closing table...I know that moving is a wretch. Bless you.
You commented on my denim scarecrow recently and I wanted to say thanks. You said you liked my "story voice". I've been trying to think of what kind of voice I have as a writer and now I know. You have enlightened me....yay!
Looking forward to more stops a LB. Living in Botswana....cool. I imagine that locale produced a lot of emotions-pros and cons....I'm just letting Botswana actually hit my brain. Wow.
Happy day to you.
WOW, you've lived in so many interesting places!! :)
ps. I gave you ANOTHER award :) http://antikamoda.blogspot.com/2010/07/versatile-blogger.html
I just found this. . . and your list is so very random and wonderful! I can't tell my left from my right either. . . at least, not quickly enough for intense situations. I always have to point. :]
