3 months

Emilia - 3 months-1.jpg
Yesterday Emilia celebrated her three month anniversary with a trip to the doctor for her regular check-up and second lot of vaccinations. Apart from screaming loudly enough that even the doctor commented on her "healthy lungs" she coped with the whole ordeal suprisingly well and at this stage of the developmental game she's tall and lean.
She's also turning out to be a bit of a people person, flirting with everyone who passes by, listening to coversations, cooing and ahhing and giggling at anyone who cares to listen. Doesn't care much about anything else though. Toys? Boring really. Hands? Why bother when you can manipulate your dummy (pacifier) with the flick of your tongue. Milk? Overrated when you can listen to a conversation instead.

Oh Clare, Emilia's just a delight. Those gummy smiles are so precious! Oh, and look at those delicate little fingernails ☺. Learning how to cut them is so distressing at first. And the Fernsehturm is smashing. Well done on making it through the 'fourth trimester' - hopefully life will settle down into some sort of a routine in the next few weeks for you. J x

Clare...she is stunning! I'm not much of a "baby" person, but when they get a little time going-and the personality can be seen in a smile or in the eyes, I get on board. Your little lady is a charmer for sure.
My brother's son had something called "tags" it was a maybe 10 x 12 inch fleece rectangle ( i think 2 sided-sewn together) and around all the edges were a variety of cloth ribbons. Some had texture, some smooth, some skinny or fat, in all colors and different patters. The "tags" were in small loops so as you could fit maybe one or two adult fingers within them. Both ends were sewn into the fleece so there were little loops all around the border of the rectangle. I bet there were 30 different tags surrounding the material.
Anyway, my nephew, not one for toys either, loved rubbing his litte fingers on the various materials. Maybe Emila would too. sorry for the long explanation, but you're so crafty I can imaging you sewing something like this up in no time.
All right, I'll stop now. Have a wonderful day, and enjoy that breath of sunshine that warms you through her eyes as she adores you.
