there is another sky

There is another sky

There is another sky,
Ever serene and fair,
And there is another sunshine,
Though it be darkness there;
Never mind faded forests, Austin,
Never mind silent fields -
Here is a little forest,
Whose leaf is ever green;
Here is a brighter garden,
Where not a frost has been;
In its unfading flowers
I hear the bright bee hum:
Prithee, my brother,
Into my garden come!
by Emily Dickinson

This week over at Madeline Bea the prompt was "ethereal" - the picture is two photos blended together, both from the forest surrounding Vienna.  I like the way it looks as if you're looking from one world, into another - a brighter garden, where not a frost has been.

Love this photo and poem. Like that you blended two photos for this assignment, must try that too.

This is absolutely beautiful...everything about it. Can you talk to me about how you blended the two photographs? I'm pretty good with textures but I'm not very good when it comes to blending 2 photographs.

Oh Claire...another beautiful post. The words at the bottom seem like a whisper hidden in the forest. Your post for Sunday Creative is always something I look forward to.

I just love it - something a little eerie, but in a serene sort of way. Very well put together.
