weekend-ing

17_05_reading
It's been a bit quiet around these parts the last few days. Plenty of slow and steady pottering about. Lots of time spent on the couch with my feet up and my eyes closed. Relaxing evenings cooking this risotto and this delicious rhubarb recipe. I have this on the needles, destined for someone's little one, although if these websites are correct then it won't be mine as all signs are pointing to a wee little fella coming this July. What did you get up to this weekend, anything exciting?

haha, that website looks amazing/hilarious! I had a pendulum done with Eleanor, by someone who had 'never been wrong'. It was wrong. As a result I was VERY surprised (happily so) when a little girl popped out!

My weekend was also mostly silent. I came back from a business trip Saturday afternoon and then enjoyed the rain on the sofa for almost the rest of the weekend :)
Happy Monday!

i love that photo! and i think pottering is a word that is under-used in the u.s. - i'm going to remedy that ;-)

Don't give up on that sweet little dress yet....you never know, unless the DR does that ultra sound thingy and says for sure.
Your weekned sounds divine...I'm somewhat jealous. Potting around. I'll have to try that.

I love your weekend photos and how relaxing your weekends always seem. My weekend was filled with half relaxing and half working. At least I got a good half in there! And July is the perfect time for a birthday.. I know from experience. ;)

Risotto, rhubarb, and relaxation? Where do I sign up? This photo is gorgeous, Clare. I spent my weekend working a bit, at a birthday picnic for a few hours, and visiting a friend's pop up shop.

How lovely. Jamie Olivier's recipes always look interesting to me, but I haven't tried one yet. That risotto looks perfect for spring.

Wow your baby will be here so soon! How exciting! This weekend was spent running around doing wedding stuff. Returning shoes, getting fitted planning and more planning. Glad your weekend was relaxing. Rhubarb is in season here too. I'd love to try making a dessert with it this season.

Sounds like a wonderful weekend Clare! Glad to hear you are relaxing. This past weekend was kind of a wash-out, as has been much of the week so far :-(
If this rain doesn't stop, I am going to have to consider camera rain gear!
